Mercedes GLC Interior – INTERIOR Details

Life is too short to drive boring cars. With every new addition to its range, Mercedes Benz sets newer benchmarks in the genre of class and exquisiteness. This time it is Mercedes’ GLC taking away the breaths of many luxury car enthusiasts with its spectacular interiors. If you haven’t had a peek at the marvelous insides of this model, here’s what you’re missing.

Luxury: Up close and personal.

Resonating with the brand itself, Mercedes GLC harbors an extremely intimate look and feel. ARTICO, the rich man-made leather used for the seats is elusive and comfortable, while the exclusive upholstery layout epitomizes sheer stylishness.

Two Shades Of Style

The Mercedes GLC interiors come in two equally stunning colors – Silk Beige and Magma Grey. Just as its very name, silk beige makes for a flowing, seamless palette of the car. Not too extravagant or too subtle. The light beige color is balanced out by the contrasting open-pore walnut wood trim elements of Mercedes GLC’s interiors. Furthermore, the blend of wood and silk is as delectable as one could imagine.

On the contrary, Magma Gray makes a rather strong fashion statement. It is the more prominent choice of the two and rightly so, stands out as a magnificent palette. The gray blends in well with the wooden elements thereby giving the interiors of the car a lustrous, burnished look.

While everything about Mercedes’ GLC is worth mentioning, the instruments in silver chrome and the steering wheel of the car are two features you cannot miss. The 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel and a two-piece bezel are installed on the front in a gorgeous silver chrome shade. Giving you the feel of a luxury car but the grip of a sports car, this steering wheel has a firm and sturdy hold that ensures safe and comfortable driving. The Mercedes GLC Interiors also include an instrument cluster with 2 tube-shaped circular instruments, 13.97 cms (5.5 inches) multifunction display that is as striking as the rest of the car, and a surround system in silver chrome with MBUX incorporated.

The air vents with outer adapter tubes are coated in Nurburd silver to harmonize with the other colors of the interiors. These air vents ensure effective ventilation in the car and a comfortable ride. The rotary knob and front face of the louvers also imitate the same silver chrome color of the instruments. Furthermore, the door center panels of the car are also created with the ARTICO leather giving Mercedes aficionados an unprecedented user experience. Indicating a minimal yet super classy taste, the roof liners are covered in black fabric and others in beige fabric.

If you don’t like your rides quiet, you can count on the legendary Burmester sound system to jazz up your journeys. In a silver chrome color, this speaker system adds to the grand essence of the car’s interior. Another indispensable feature of Mercedes GLC is its superior touchpad that can be used to control the infotainment the same way as a smartphone would. You can shift and enlarge the contents of the screen simply through a single gesture. A haptic feedback is sent back as confirmation of your gestures. Furthermore, should you wish to add a phone number or navigate the GPS through an address, the touchpad is equipped to identify your handwriting. Several other controls are also directly adjustable through the touch-sensitive surface. Thus, you have a hassle-free driving experience and never have to multitask.

Lighting is everything, and Mercedes GLC aces that arena too. With more than 64 colors, the ambient lights make up the perfect lighting solutions for every mood. To further amplify the stainless steel panels of the car, they now come imprinted with the exuberant Mercedes Benz lettering. Decorated by such intrinsic details and elusive elements, Mercedes GLC’s interiors are truly a sight for sore eyes.

The manual pull-out roller sun blades shield you against harsh sunlight while its thick fabric prevents the car from heating up even during throbbing summers. To protect your luggage in the back, you can pull down the retractable cover of the EASY-PACK Load compartment that is fitted behind the rear seats.

Mercedes’ GLC also provides ample storage space and features in the back of the car. The Stowage Space package comes with map pockets on the back of the front seats, a durable net on the load compartment floor, a 12 V socket in the load compartment on the left, a cargo rail to expand the luggage compartment capacity by 30 l and two USB-C ports in the rear for unmatchable comfort.

Did we mention the keyless start function? Your powerful engine can start as soon as you press the turbine-look start/stop button placed in the ignition area. Hence, during summer heat, you can ventilate the car quickly and easily with one touch. The velour floor mats additionally add on to the charm of this car’s interiors. These edgy foot mats are easy to vacuum and clean. These too are embedded with Mercedes Benz luxurious signature.

Saving the sweetest cherry for the end, Mercedes Benz’s spectacular fully digital instrument display with the “Classic”, “Sporty” and “Progressive” display styles truly illuminate the car. The contents of the display are customizable and pose pin-sharp clarity irrespective of the lighting outside.

Whether it’s a short one to the supermarket or a longer one to the countryside, every journey with your Mercedes GLC is an impeccable one!
