The facelifted W124 was reveealed1993 and it was called the “E-Class”. All the Mercedes-Benz models switched to this new system. The V8 powered sedans were named 400E and 500E and E420/E500 after 1993. the 3.0-litre cars were badged as E320.

The E-Class was now 1.6 inches longer and 2.3 inches wider. The W210 was facelifted again in the year1999.
