Upcoming Mercedes-Benz Cars to Watch Out For

Mercedes-Benz, for a long time, has been one of the leading luxury car manufacturers in the world. The German auto giant enjoys a strong lead and good growth in the dynamic luxury four-wheeler market in India as well. And unsurprisingly, the carmaker has great plans for launching Mercedes-Benz upcoming models in 2022. Globally, the company is aiming to introduce close to 22 models, whereas, in India, 15 models is the initial plan, which includes AMGs and EVs. The leadership is focused on creating a good ecosystem for electric vehicles and capturing the market in the coming years. 

The launch plans in the year 2020 and 2021 were deferred due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the company will be aiming to achieve its 2022 launch goals without hiccups. Mercedes-Benz Upcoming Models: EVs

Mercedes-Benz EQS

As the world moves towards sustainability, the automobile industry has risen to the challenge, delivering electric vehicles using eco-friendly processes. Mercedes-Benz upcoming models will also feature many such vehicles. EQS is the most awaited all-electric luxury saloon which was supposed to be launched in December 2021, which most probably will now be launched in the first half of 2022. As EQS takes much of its features from S-Class, expect luxury at its finest combined with a sportier look with the dual-tone paint job and yet unmatched aerodynamics. However, EQS is longer and wider than S-Class. Other impressive features include 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen which is huge and battery capacity visualization. 

Mercedes-Benz EQE

According to the latest reports, Mercedes-Benz upcoming models include EQE, which is likely to be launched in late 2022. Although details related to the EQE are sparse, it is believed to be rear-wheel drive, called EQE 350, which will be followed by all-wheel drive and AMG models. Powered by a 90kWh battery pack, EQE is capable of travelling close to 660 km on full charge. It will consist of MBUX Hyperscreen, Advanced Driver Assistance System ADAS functions, and other Mercedes-Benz features. 

Mercedes-Benz EQB

Mercedes-Benz upcoming models will include EQB SUV, which may be launched in mid 2022. At first, the company is planning to roll out EQB 250 globally, which may come to India as well, followed by EQB 300 4MATIC and 350 4MATIC. The EQB model will be powered by a 66.5kWh battery pack. 

Mercedes-Benz Upcoming Models: Others

Other Mercedes-Benz upcoming models include Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet Facelift, Mercedes-Benz New A-Class which will be launched in India in late September and perhaps the first half of 2022 respectively. Globally, different new models such as GLS 2022, GLE coupe 2022, GLA 2022, S-Class 2022, SL 2022, C-Class 2022 are believed to be launched.
