Last month, the legendary auto-giant Mercedes-Benz revealed the highly anticipated Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS 53, the first fully electric flagship sedan, to the world. In the age of sustainability and environment-friendly innovations both inside and outside of the automotive world, Mercedes AMG EQS promises to usher in a new era of powerful driving dynamics, sophisticated design and extraordinary comfort with top-notch electro mobility experience at the centre. It also means you can enjoy an AMG model without burning fuel.
As for performance, Mercedes AMG EQS is certainly packing a punch, with the model having 751 hp and 1020 N-m of torque. The AMG Dynamic Plus Package features enable the fascinating three-pointed star to reach 96 km/h in 3.4 seconds, according to reports. The top speed is estimated to be 249 kph. In addition, electric dual-motors, 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system in sync with AMG and exclusive boost function add to its performance. A 400-volt lithium-ion battery with advanced wiring, battery management system, fast-charging capabilities power the vehicle.
Although the suspension system remains the standard, the engineering team has redeveloped the rear axle beam, motor mountings and sub-frame for Mercedes AMG EQS. The brake system with 17-inch front brake discs and calipers make the stopping process efficient and effective in Mercedes AMG EQS.
There are five different driving modes: Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual. Another highlight of Mercedes AMG EQS that has caught maximum attention is the AMG Sound Experience both inside and outside. You can choose from three sound categories – Balanced, Sport and Powerful. Plus, there is a special welcome sound.
The Mercedes AMG EQS design may seem similar to the regular EQS. However, several elements are quite different. For instance, it looks much sportier with the chrome-slatted panel in the front, few tweaks to bumpers and a larger rear spoiler. AMG alloy wheels come with 21- and 22-inch design options as well. In the interiors, you will experience the standard AMG elements such as flat-bottom steering wheel design made of Nappa leather, sportier seats, AMG sports pedals, red stitching on the MB-Tex upholstery with microfiber, MBUX hyper screen, huge central touchscreen and passenger display.
Other features like augmented reality head-up display, Burmester 3D surround-sound system, adaptive cruise control, active lane-keeping assist, panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, active parking assist, heated steering wheel, heated seats, massaging functions are available. A full suite of safety features is also present.
Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS 53 will set the standards for other all-electric AMG models and pave the way for a sustainable, luxurious and modern driving experience for the car enthusiast.
